The state does not have any casinos, so it issued standalone licenses to mobile sports betting app providers. Tennessee permitted betting apps for sports to begin accepting customers near the end of 2020. There is a Caesars Sportsbook app, but it is an old, legacy brand, which is totally different to the Caesars online sports betting app in other states. Sports betting apps available include FanDuel – the market leader – plus DraftKings, BetMGM, BetRivers, FOX Bet and a few others. It has since blossomed into one of the largest and most diverse markets for online betting apps in the United States.

Pennsylvania’s first mobile sports betting apps became available for download in 2019, almost a year after retail sports wagering began.
